Tomorrow is our end of the year party. The students will be eating pizza in the afternoon, but it will not replace lunch. We will be on the rainbow playground in the very back of the school. Hope to see you there!

Last Week of School
Tuesday, May 20 - Field Day and Game Day
Field Day will be half of the school day. Your child may bring his or her favorite board game to play in the classroom during the other half of the day.
Wednesday, May 21 - Field Day and Game Day raindate
Whichever day Field Day is, will be Game Day as well.
Thursday, May 22 - Bring a large shopping bag and a beach towel to school.
The shopping bag will be used to clean out desks and bring items home. The beach towel will be used in the afternoon for the end of the year party. We will celebrate from 1:15-2:00 on the Rainbow playground. Parents are welcome to attend. Pizza will be provided for the students only. The pizza will NOT replace lunch.
Friday, May 23 - Last Day of School
Students will not bring anything TO school or FROM school this day. Everything will be brought home on the 22nd.
Reminder
The last day for students to check out books in the media center is May 9. Thanks!
Habitat Cleanup
This Sunday, April 20, is our annual Mt. Bethel Habitat Cleanup here at Mt. Bethel. We will meet in the parking lot around 1pm and work until 3:30. Keep Cobb Beautiful is providing us with supplies this year as a part of their National Clean Up campaign. We will be submitting photos from the event - if we are chosen, we can earn up to $1,000 to go towards beautification of our school! We'd love to see a strong turn out!
BUBBLES
We will celebrate Spring and the end of testing by having a bubble blowing party. Your child will need one small container of bubbles on April 29.

Your child's framed artwork will be on display during the Mt. Bethel Student Art Show.

Now is the time to purchase tickets for the 4th and 5th Grade BCP Musical, Willy Wonka Jr! Shows are held at Pope High School this year. This well-loved story is great for children and delicious for the whole family!!

Read Across America Week
March 3-7
Monday - Students should bring one of their favorite books to school.
Tuesday - Students will read a book about America.
Wednesday - Students will sign a Reading Pledge form and read a non-fiction book.
Thursday - Read-To-Me Day
Friday - Wear your favorite striped clothing! (in honor of "the cat")
