The Murdock Elementary Exceptional Children's Committee is hosting speaker and Cobb County Special Educator Patricia Goodwin M.Ed. on Thursday, May 15th at 7:00 pm at Murdock Elementary School. The topic is The ABC's of Autism. She will focus on the history of Autism as well as some behavior guidelines using visual clues.

The East Cobb Chapter for Exceptional Children is hosting a free presentation on Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder on Thursday, January 31st from 7-8:30 at Eastside Elementary School Cafeteria, 3850 Roswell Rd. Marietta, GA 30062.
The speakers are Barb Ecklund, M.A., Ed.S., school psychologist and our very own Vicki Bunke, M.S., Ph.D. school psychologist. They will present up-to-date, research-based information on the identification and management of children and adolescents with ADD/ADHD. ADD/ADHD is one of the most common neurobehavioral disorders of childhood which can create struggles with behavior, school work, peer relationships, and problems at home.
Barb and Vicki work in our schools and have first hand experience working with our children.
