YMCA Buccaneer Blast ~ Wed, Jan 30th

Roller_blade It’s time to get your boogie skates on & have some fun with your friends at the East Cobb YMCA (Johnson Ferry Rd, next to WalMart) Wednesday, January 30th 2:45pm – 4:45pm

Skating – Games – Food – Music

Don’t skate? No problem! Line Dancing – Dodgeball – Prizes!!

We'll have a dance-off at 3:30 and dodgeball at 4:00!

Admission is $1.00 for YMCA members, $3.50 for non-members.

ADD/ADHD Lecture ~ Thu, Jan 31st

Executive_disfunction All are invited to attend this free presentation, which is a segment of the "Putting the Pieces Together Lecture Series" sponsored by the PTA East Cobb Chapter for Exceptional Children.

ADD/ADHD LECTURE: Thursday, January 31st, 7:00pm - 8:30pm, Eastside Elementary Cafeteria (map)

Speakers:  Cobb County School Psychologists Barb Eklund, M.A., Ed.S and Vicki Bunke, M.S., Ph.D.

Up-to-date, researched based information will be presented on the identification and management of children and adolescence with ADD/ADHD. 

ADD/ADHD is one of the most common neurobehavioral disorders of childhood which can create struggles with behavior, school work, peer relationships and problem at home.
