Art Parent

Artist_2 Be an Art Parent!

The Mt. Bethel PTA is seeking moms and dads to serve as Art Parents in their child's classroom.  It's fun and simple...and you don't need to be an artist!

You spend about 15 minutes discussing an artist or style, and about 20-30 minutes doing a simple, but related project.

There are binders and books available that are filled with plans and ideas.  It is a very easy way to be involved inside your child's classroom....and the kids really look forward to it!

After your Art Parent lesson, please complete the attached form and place it in the lesson binder in the Art Parent supply closet. This will help other parents benefit from your great ideas!  Click here for form.

Click here to view documents distributed at the September 2007 training.  This document contains lesson plan ideas as well as links to helpful websites where you can get more fun ideas!
