5th grade homework and notebook check

NOTEBOOK CHECKLIST:

Everyone will have a notebook check to see that they are keeping up with their work. All notebooks should include:

a) Your Atlanta Symphony Orchestra book with underlined notes
b) Your Recorder Star Book with:
1. page 10, 14, 18 completed
2. the letter names labeled to "Rest Test" , "Mexican Fiesta" pg. 20 "Old McDonald: pg.25
c) "How to Practice Music" notes that we took in class
d) Fanga Alafia
e) Ensemble 1

f) Rhy. chart

g) Let's Rest Awhile worksheet completed

4th Grade Notebook

All 4th grade notebooks should include:

• Hot Cross Buns Instruments Sheet
• Blue "PHAT" sheet
• Treble Speller Worksheet COMPLETED
• A piece of notebook paper with TERMS on the top and the definitions for: accompaniment, melody, half note, quarter note, time signature, measure, skip, step, repeat, breath mark, legato, staccato, eighth note, bared eighth note

• Ryh. Chart
• "How to Practice Music" notes
• Rhy. math handwritten practice
• Test study packet
• Notebook Checksheet

What Do I Bring To Recorder Class?

All students in 4th and 5th grade should bring:

• a binder or notebook folder with 3 prongs
• a pencil
• their recorder with neck strap
• recorder book (5th= star 4th= karate)
