BOOK SWAP COMING SOON
CLEAN OUT YOUR SHELVES NOW!
Time to clean out your children's book shelves. Set aside the GOOD CONDITION but unwanted books for the annual Read Across America Book Swap the week of May 4th-8th. Just in time for summer reading!
How Book Swap works - during the mornings of May 4th - 6th, students stop in the cafeteria before the last AM bell and receive a ticket for each donated book. During the mornings of May 7th and 8th, before the last AM bell, students are able to redeem their tickets for any book of their choice. Any books not selected will be donated to Norton Park and Powers Ferry Elementary schools. This is a fun cause to recycle books, get “new” free books in your children's hands to read and help another school at the same time.
We are unable to accept donations for books that are either preschool picture or word books, sticker, religious, Chick-fil-A or adult genre. If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Rust or Dayna Teichman at email@example.com.
If you use the Gmail service, is Gmail putting you eMinders in the right place? Gmail recently rolled out a newly designed inbox. If you've been using the new design, you also know your emails are now being sorted into three tabs - Primary, Social, and Promotions - with two additional tabs, Updates and Forums, available from the Configure inbox section of your Gmail Settings. Google updates their filtering rules periodically, so it is always a good idea to check these sections for emails that you might want.
You may also have noticed that our eMinder emails now appear in your Promotions or Updates tab. If you'd rather the eMinders we send end up in your Primary tab it's simple to tell Gmail where these eMinder emails should go. Here's how:
Drag and drop the eMinder email into your Primary tab and click "yes" when Gmail asks if you'd like future messages from this email address to go to your Primary tab.
